On Material & Form

A discourse on impermanence, the deliberate staging of form, and the resonant value found in a lack of immortality. We accept what we cannot change, yet persist in an effort to break free.

Staging & Stature

The identity of these figures is defined by what is absent: a base, a placard, a guarantee. Each piece is staged to stand on its own, balanced with precise weight distribution and integrated metallic inserts. This is a deliberate rejection of the traditional sculptural mount, removing the certainty of stability to enhance the interactivity between owner and artwork. This choice creates an individualized rationality—a conscious awareness.

Like a prized childhood possession, the work is not meant to be stagnant. Its value is amplified by the need to keep it safe, to protect it, to interact with it. It is staged to withstand subtle external forces, but its true permanence is found in the mind of its manager. It stands, figuratively and literally, as valuable without conventional support.

Impermanence & Identity

What drives identity more than material possessions? It is not what you give, but what you have fought to acquire and experience. Identity is forged in the face of resistance, outside the spaces we find most comfortable. Only in fleeting moments do we find the opportunity to truly act—to exhibit the best of our authority without failure. This is the lens through which we are judged most prolifically.

Limitless Form

The digital presentation of these artworks intentionally obscures their scale, because their form is not fixed. We can produce these sculptures with no limitation to their size. Within each listing is an option to request unique sizing parameters, opening an intimate discussion to match the requirements of your space, your vision, or your organization's needs. The artwork is able to be scaled to you.
